Come Visit Bali, Contact Bram!

I choose not to make my introduction of Bali too wordy, because I believe pictures speak louder than words :) All the posted pictures from previous entries are those I have taken in my Bali trip, I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed this place. Scroll down to read :)

Just to add, Bali is also famous for Ubud where the movie 'Eay, Pray, Love' by Julia Roberts was shot. I don't have much pictures but I would recommend this place, they are known for their unique handicrafts! For those party goers, there are also lots of bars, especially near Kuta area.

Bali Best View - Uluwatu Cliff!

Among all the spots in Bali, for me the most memorable spot would be the Uluwatu Cliff. The view is just breath-taking. Won't you agree?

There's this temple overlooking the cliff, the Uluwatu temple.

You can also watch the famous Kecak dance here.

Bali Beaches - Kuta

Bali of course is famous for beaches. There are several famous area: Kuta, Seminyak, Nusa Dua. For a first timer, Kuta is usually the popular choice. It's the vibrant area, close to eateries and shopping and bars.

Here's a view of the sunset and the sunrise. Very relaxing and cooling to take a stroll by the beach.

Bali Volcano - Majestic Kintamani!

Kintamani is a few hours drive away, if you have enough time, you can go to Kintamani to explore the great picturesque view of the famous volcano.

Bali Mountain - Bedugul

In this area, you'll be able to see Bedugul Mountain, Lake Bratan and Ulun Danu temple.  It's such a charm to see a temple with a mountain and lake as backdrop!  The smoky effect of the fog and the clear waters - perfect for photography.

Bali Rice Terraces - Tegallalang

Not sure how to start logically haha. I'll just present my orientation of Bali by category so that you'll have a bird's eye view of the best views to see in Bali.

If you are a fan of nature and rice terraces, you should have a quick stopover at Tegallalang Rice Terraces. The different shades of greens exude an elegant tranquility.

We also had lunch near this area at a famous Babi Guling restaurant.  This is the famous roast pork dish, from Ubud.

Bali Temples - so many!

Bali has a lot of temples for you to explore. Here's my shortlist:

Besakih - I bet this is the most famous one, the mother of all temples.

Tirta Empur - holy spring temple. It's my first time to witness people bathing in a temple for good luck. Worth your time to drop by.

Tanah Lot - known for the great sunset view

Taman Ayun Royal temple

Goa Gajah - the elephant cave temple

apart from the Ulun Danu temple I have posted earlier, these should all be the must-see temples! :)
